Salt Water Pools & Relaxation

Our salt water pools are gentler on your skin, eyes, and hair than traditional chlorine pools. Year-round aquatic facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, and sauna.

Why Salt Water?

Salt water pools provide a spa-like experience without the harsh effects of chlorine. No red eyes, no dry skin, no chemical smell. Just pure, refreshing relaxation.

Standards of Behavior

As an AANR-affiliated family naturist resort, we ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all guests. We ask that everyone follow these guidelines during their visit.

Core Policies

Nudity Policy

As White Tail Resort is a family nudist resort, we dress or undress for comfort. Nudity is mandatory at pools, saunas, and hot tubs at all times. Exception: Non-toilet-trained children may wear plastic pants over leak-proof diapers.

Photography Policy

Cameras and photographic devices are not permitted on the property and are subject to confiscation. This includes cell phone cameras.

Jewelry Policy

Understated jewelry only is permitted. Most body piercings are acceptable. Hanging or connecting jewelry of any kind is not permitted. Management determines acceptability.

Pet Policy

Day visitors cannot bring pets. Pets are not allowed in buildings, pool areas, or lodging.

Child Curfew

Children 14 and under by 10:00 PM; Children 15-17 by 11:00 PM (must leave Social Hall)

Please DO

  • Use your gate card or ring the bell for entry to the resort
  • Sit on a personal towel when nude on any shared seating
  • Maintain pools, hot tub, and sauna as nude-only zones at all times
  • Shower before entering any water facilities
  • Swim at your own risk. No lifeguards are provided
  • Directly supervise children under 14 at all times (Virginia law requirement)
  • Ensure children under 14 are accompanied by parent/designated adult (18+) in pool fence area, hot tub, or indoor pool buildings
  • Use floats and rafts only when pools are not crowded
  • Keep radio and TV volume low; earphones preferred
  • Observe quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM
  • Directly supervise all minor children at all times
  • Enforce curfews: children 14 and under by 10:00 PM; children 15-17 by 11:00 PM (must leave Social Hall)
  • Participate in all activities at your own risk
  • Report any offensive behavior immediately to management
  • Enjoy food and beverages responsibly
